Recently, Vietnam was struck by Typhoon Haikui, causing significant damage and hardship. Chinese home appliance brand BEAR expressed deep concern for the situation and demonstrated its sense of social responsibility. At this critical moment, BEAR is committed to caring for the Vietnamese people affected by the natural disaster, recognizing that many have lost their means of livelihood.

In response, BEAR has decided to partner with local distributors in Vietnam to extend a helping hand to the disaster-stricken communities, demonstrating their support and concern. Together with local distributors, BEAR has actively responded to its social responsibilities by donating over 700 million Vietnamese Dong worth of home appliances to assist recovery efforts and help affected families through this difficult time.

The donation campaign received strong support from CONG TY TNHH THUONG MAI SARING, THE GIOI DI DONG JOINT STOCK COMPANY, Điện máy Xanh and SUBE VIETNAM JOINT STOCK COMPANY under the proactive push of the BEAR brand.

The donation event officially launched in Cao Bang from September 28 to 29, 2024, during which BEAR and SUBE donated 150 rice cookers. In the week leading up to October 12, they also delivered an additional 350 rice cookers to two other communes in Lao Cai Province—A Lu and A Mu Sung. In total, 500 rice cookers were donated, valued at approximately $10,000, aimed at providing essential support to the disaster-affected residents, improving their living conditions, and helping them cook and enjoy meals more easily, so they can quickly return to normal life.

The beneficiary regions include the command of military units and the Bat Xat District Youth Union, both of which play essential roles in post-disaster relief efforts.

Additionally, the BEAR brand has provided further disaster relief support for victims in the northern regions. In collaboration with CONG TY TNHH THUONG MAI SARING and THE GIOI DI DONG JOINT STOCK COMPANY and Điện máy Xanh, BEAR has planned to set up 33 donation points through Điện máy Xanh in Phố Ràng, Fu Chuan, Lao Cai Province, with the donation campaign continuing until October 8, 2024. A total of 950 electric stewing pots, valued at 400 million Vietnamese Dong, will be donated to support victims in the northern regions.

Through these efforts, BEAR aims to assist more victims in the northern areas and other affected families to improve their living conditions, especially during these challenging times brought by natural disasters.

The BEAR brand remains firmly committed to social responsibility, actively participating in disaster relief work, and striving to bring warmth and care to families in need. The brand adheres to its mission of giving back to society and practices the corporate values of kindness and social care.

Moreover, BEAR calls on more enterprises and individuals to join in supporting post-disaster recovery efforts and contribute to rebuilding homes. Kim, a senior executive from BEAR’s overseas division, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all staff members and long-term supporting partners who participated in this initiative: “The success of this donation activity could not have been realized without the joint efforts of all parties involved. We thank every participant and supporter. As a responsible and accountable company, we look forward to more opportunities in the future to work hand in hand with all sectors of society to provide support to disaster victims and contribute to the development and harmony of Vietnam.”
