Easy Air Fryer Egg Tart Recipe

  • 2 eggs

  • 38g of sugar

  • 250ml of milk

  • 4 frozen prata (pastry sheets)


  • Step 1: Prepare the Egg Mixture

    In a mixing bowl, combine 2 eggs, 38g of sugar, and 250ml of milk. Stir the ingredients well until thoroughly mixed.


  • Step 2: Sieve the Mixture

    Use a sieve to strain the mixture, ensuring it becomes smooth and free of any lumps.


  • Step 3: Cut Frozen Prata

    Cut each frozen prata into 4 pieces.


  • Step 4: Shape the Prata into Tart Shells

    Take a prata piece and place it into an aluminum holder or cupcake holder. Use a fork to poke holes in the prata. Spread the prata piece to form an approximate tart-shell shape.


  • Step 5: Fill Tart Shells

    Fill each prata tart shell with the egg mixture, ensuring it's filled to an appropriate level. Be cautious not to overfill to prevent overflow during cooking.


  • Step 6: Air Fry

    Preheat the air fryer to 160℃ (320°F). Place the filled tart shells into the air fryer and cook for approximately 15 minutes.


  • Step 7: Check for Golden Brown

    Monitor the tarts while cooking and remove them from the air fryer when they turn golden brown.


  • Step 8: Serve and Enjoy

    Allow the air-fried egg tarts to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the delightful combination of the crispy prata crust and creamy egg filling.
